Job summary

TranSouth Logistics is seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, plus Opelika, AL and Adel, GA. Driver will cover a daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. No Touch Freight, 526 miles.

Salary starts at $60,000 to $75,000 per year with benefits and bonuses. Ideal candidates have a clean MVR and CSA, hazmat preferred but not required, and at least 1 year of verifiable CDL A experience.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• 1+ year verifiable CDL A experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Background check and DOT drug/alcohol test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local routes covering Dalton, GA and surrounding areas.
• Make daily trips in a 5-day work week (Mon-Fri).
• No touch freight; maintain safe, on-time deliveries.
• Utilize GPS/E-log for routing and compliance.

TranSouth Logistics specializes in trucking, deliveries and warehousing. Our distribution centers are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

We are seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, Opelika, AL and Adel, GA. Driver will cover daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. No Touch Freight, 526 miles. Our drivers work Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates will have a good MVR and CSA, hazmat endorsement preferred not required, and at least 1-year verifiable CDL A experience. Our drivers enjoy a salaried position and make a starting pay of $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year. We offer great benefits, paid holidays and performance bonuses. $2,000 Sign on Bonus! Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver's license required
• 1+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Must pass a background check and DOT drug and alcohol test.
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Comfortable maneuvering, parking and backing a tractor-trailer.
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
• Proficient using GPS and E-log systems.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
