Job summary

TranSouth Logistics in Dalton, GA is seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, Opelika, AL and Adel, GA, with a daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. This local, home-daily position features no-touch freight and a starting pay of $60,000–$75,000 per year.

You will work Monday through Friday, maintain a good MVR, DOT drug/alcohol test, and have Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required.
• 1+ years of proven tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Must pass a background check and DOT drug test.
• Proficient with GPS and E-log systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate local routes covering Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, plus Opelika, AL and Adel, GA.
• Make daily round trips to Chattanooga, TN with no-touch freight.
• Adhere to schedule, safety, and regulatory requirements.

TranSouth Logistics specializes in trucking, deliveries and warehousing. Our distribution centers are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

We are seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, Opelika, AL and Adel, GA. Driver will cover daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. No Touch Freight, 526 miles. Our drivers work Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates will have a good MVR and CSA, hazmat endorsement preferred not required, and at least 1-year verifiable CDL A experience. Our drivers enjoy a salaried position and make a starting pay of $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year. We offer great benefits, paid holidays and performance bonuses. $2,000 Sign on Bonus! Truck Driver Requirements And Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license required
• 1+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Must pass a background check and DOT drug and alcohol test.
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Comfortable maneuvering, parking and backing a tractor-trailer.
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
• Proficient using GPS and E-log systems.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
