Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Newark, NJ is seeking a Local CDL-A Reefer Driver to haul fresh and frozen groceries within New York and surrounding markets. Earns $85,000–$100,000 annually with daily home time, established routes, and mostly no-touch freight. Trucks include reefers 46'-53', and uniforms are provided. You will complete 15+ stops weekly and may assist with pallet jack unloading when needed. Training provided for new drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• DOT Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries using 46', 48', 51', and 53' reefer trailers.
• Handle 15+ stops per week across NY/NJ/CT/PA areas.
• Pallet jack unloading as needed; assist customer unloading.
• Backhaul freight to distribution center when required.
• Provide professional customer service on all routes.
