Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to deliver fresh and frozen groceries across the Northeast. Earn about $100,000 average annual gross pay with a $5,000 bonus and a consistent 5-day schedule with daily home time.

This role involves NYC/Long Island/NJ routes, 20–25 stops weekly, and long loads with 12–14 hour shifts. Home daily, 6th day as needed, and holiday periods not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Preferred: experience delivering in NYC boroughs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using reefer trailers.
• Manage 20–25 stops per week with 12–14 hour shifts.
• Unload pallets at stops and assist with dock deliveries when required.
