Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to operate within a 150-mile radius, delivering containers with 100% no-touch freight while staying in a bed at home after every shift.

You’ll work nights with schedules Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, averaging 55–70 hours weekly. Expect steady weekly pay and a strong benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401(k) matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Must reside within 25 miles of dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.
• Solid driving history and pass mandatory drug screening.

Responsibilities

• No-touch intermodal freight within a 150-mile radius.
• Night shifts with home daily after each shift.
• Operate 55–70 hours per week.
• Slip-seat operation on daycabs; 2 stops per load.
• Regional hub drops and yard-to-yard runs.
