Kloeckner is seeking a local CDL-A driver in the Alpharetta, GA area. This role focuses on safe, efficient transportation of steel service center products, with home nightly in a local route.

You will ensure proper load securement, comply with DOT rules, and maintain vehicle readiness. Qualified candidates will have a CDL with endorsements, a clean driving record, and at least 6 months of Class A experience.

Qualifications

• CDL with proper endorsements required.
• DOT physical exam and random drug testing.
• Safe driving record required.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Completion of the “Gearing Up” program if <2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CDL compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Load/weight distribution and securement.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading at destinations.
• Inspect and maintain fleet equipment for safe operation.
• Utilize new technology and equipment in trucks.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and officials.
