Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a professional CDL A driver for local deliveries in Florida. The role involves pickup and offloading of palletized products using a flatbed, with home nightly return and safety-focused responsibilities.

Requirements include CDL A, clean MVR, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. DOT physicals are required; mix of driving and loading duties ensures active, varied daily work.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL A and clean MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to operate a standard transmission.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• DOT yearly physical required.

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and all other materials to job site in a safe manner.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain good customer relations and report any issues to the dispatcher.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety.
