Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Building Materials Driver to deliver windows and doors across WA and OR. Expect an $86,000 average yearly pay with frequent home time and CPM increases; operate day cabs and straight trucks, with heavy loading/unloading duties.

Shifts typically Mon-Fri, 5:00 AM start, 10–12 hour days, possible Saturday work based on demand. CDL-A and DOT medical card required, strong customer service urged.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver windows, doors, and related products on a dedicated WA/OR account.
• Operate straight trucks and day cabs with occasional yard/hostler tasks.
• Hand unload at customer locations; assist with loading as needed.
• Scan and verify products at each stop; update ETA for customers.
• Maintain safety protocols and reposition load securement bars after deliveries.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery windows and changes.
• May assist other dedicated accounts 2–3 times per month.

Join a dedicated local building materials account delivering windows, doors, and related products throughout Washington and Oregon. This position offers $86,000 average annual pay , frequent home time, and yearly CPM increases.

Main Yard / Starting Location

Milgard Distribution Center – Fife, WA — deliveries originate from the Fife distribution center and serve customers throughout WA and OR.

Pay Details

• $86,000 average annual gross
• Approximately $1,654 average weekly pay
• Starting pay: $0.61 CPM
• Yearly $0.01 CPM increases until reaching the maximum rate
• Paid daily rate when running additional JBI loads
• Paid hourly rate when performing yard/hostler work

Job Details

• Dedicated building materials account
• Deliver windows, doors, and related products
• Operate throughout WA and OR
• Majority of deliveries made in straight trucks
• Day cab with dry van trailer used as needed
• Hand unload at customer locations
• Average product weight around 80 lbs , with some items up to 400 lbs
• Dollies provided for heavier products
• Scan and verify products at each stop
• Reposition load securement bars after deliveries
• Customer communication and ETA updates required
• Assist with yard/hostler work as needed
• May assist other dedicated accounts approximately 2–3 times per month

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Ability to repeatedly lift 80 lbs

• Comfortable using scanners and following delivery procedures
