Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Fife, WA is seeking a CDL-A Local Building Materials Driver to serve customers with windows, doors and related products across WA and OR. The role offers an $86,000 average annual pay and frequent home time.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 5:00 AM, with 10–12 hour days, occasional Saturdays, and CPM-based pay with annual increases. Drivers are paid daily rate for extra loads and hourly for yard/hostler tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 80 lbs.
• Able to handle items up to 400 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable with scanning and delivery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials such as windows and doors for WA/OR.
• Operate day cabs and straight trucks; hand unload at customer sites.
• Use scanners to verify products at stops and update ETA.
• Assist with yard/hostler duties as needed.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
