Position Summary
Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; replenishing, facing, and rotating products; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning; and securing damaged products.
2. Managing backroom inventory, organizing and consolidating stock, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies.
3. Evaluating and processing damaged or defective products, re-packing, and organizing backroom materials.
4. Operating powered equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers, and manual equipment like pallet jacks.
5. Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
6. Communicating with store and company personnel regarding status and concerns, and reporting unsafe conditions.
7. Following company policies, safety guidelines, and legal requirements.
8. Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
9. Providing customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• At least 18 years old or meeting state legal age requirements.
• Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting and physical activity.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and powered pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for at least 6 hours and walk at least 4 miles during shift.
• Ability to work in various physical positions and conditions.
