Lynden Transport is seeking a local driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck for cargo transport in the immediate area. The role includes loading, unloading, securing loads, and delivering cargo per routing instructions.

Ideal candidates will have a CDL-A with HazMat and possibly a doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, and a solid safety record. The job requires ability to read regulations, work with others, and perform manual material handling.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret hazardous materials regulations and safety rules.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with managers and customers.
• Must be at least 21 with a good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Drives tractor-trailer or straight truck to destinations following company and regulatory rules.
• Loads/unloads cargo and ensures secure, compliant packaging with straps and restraints.
• Holds dispatch communication for pickup/delivery instructions and maintains logs.
• Inspects vehicle before, during, and after trips and reports issues promptly.
• Maintains shipping documents and adheres to safety and regulatory requirements.
