Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer, transporting products from our warehouse to customer locations in a timely and accurate manner.

You will unload, scan, and verify deliveries, complete required paperwork, and maintain DOT logs while upholding Sysco's safety and customer service standards. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer and delivers on time.
• Unloads product by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Communicates route, trailer, or loading issues to management.
• Operates equipment and adheres to safety procedures; may work overtime or weekends as needed.
