Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Must read/write English well to converse with the public and complete reports.
• Completion of tractor trailer driving school acceptable in lieu of diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer, delivering on time.
• Unloads product using hand cart down ramps or docks per site guidelines.
• Picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and returns, and transports to the SYGMA warehouse.
• Completes paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and daily.
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Communicates deviations to route, trailer or loading issues to management.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains regular attendance as scheduled.
