Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver I to haul non-hazardous bulk materials between Reworld facilities and customer sites using a Class A tractor with an end dump trailer, local routes out of Portage, IN.

Shifts start early, typically between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with 10–12 hour days and home daily in Portage. The role emphasizes safe dumping, regulatory compliance, and timely deliveries within the Indianapolis area and nearby sites.

Qualifications

CDL Class A license required.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles.
Ability to follow directions and operate within defined route structures.

Responsibilities

Operate CDL Class A tractor trailer units with end dump trailers in a safe and compliant manner.
Transport bulk materials such as solidified non-hazardous liquids, sawdust, and recyclables.
Perform safe and controlled dumping operations at designated facilities.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment readiness.
Complete logs, inspection reports, and delivery records; secure loads and maintain clear communication with dispatch.
