Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Joplin, MO, to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You will be a company ambassador with strong customer service and teamwork, and you will be home every night.

Responsibilities include drop-off/pickup, operating CDL-A equipment, maintaining logs, and suggesting other equipment needs. A valid CDL-A, HS diploma or GED, and 2+ years DOT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
