Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You will be home every night and serve as a company ambassador, delivering courteous service and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up equipment, performing pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and staying compliant with safety regulations while supporting customers with the right equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") as per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain drivers' logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
