Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner. You will be a company ambassador, interact with customers, and be home every night.

Responsibilities include dropping off/picking up equipment, operating trucks and trailers, maintaining logs, and performing pre-trip inspections. Must have 2+ years DOT driving experience and a clean record.

Qualifications

• This position requires a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as needed.
