BlueLinx Corporation is seeking a CDL A Driver for the Indianapolis area. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of freight, securing loads, and maintaining DOT paperwork while enjoying home every night and weekends with a first-shift schedule.

The role offers a fixed hourly wage of 33.76 USD, modern equipment, and a robust benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Properly secure loads. No tarping – only strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
