Job summary

Staffmark is hiring CDL A Local Floater Drivers in Aurora, IL. Drive a Class A vehicle on local routes, deliver medical equipment and pharmaceutical freight, and complete DOT documentation with safety and efficiency. You’ll perform inspections and maintain excellent customer service to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role offers home daily schedules, weekly pay, and benefits through Staffmark, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and professional conduct across varying start times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CDL A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience operating reefer and/or dry van trailers preferred.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious driving violations within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Transport medical equipment and pharmaceutical-related freight while maintaining shipment integrity.
• Perform deliveries in a professional and timely manner.
• Complete all required DOT and company documentation accurately.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Maintain a high level of customer service during all deliveries.
