Yzer Fleet LLC is hiring CDL A Dedicated Local Dry Van Floater Drivers in Aurora, IL. Drivers split time between warehouse duties and dedicated line haul routes, hauling pharmaceuticals with year-round, steady work.

Starting at $30 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed when reporting 5 days, overtime after 40 hours, and weekly direct deposits. Benefits begin after 90 days, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401K with company match starting in 2027.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• 3+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Home daily in Aurora, IL area with variable start times between 2:00–3:00am and 8:30pm–4:00am.
• Split time between warehouse duties (loading/unloading, pallet handling) and covering dedicated line haul routes.
• Most deliveries are no touch; some driver unloads with pallet jacks and scanning may be required.

Yzer Fleet LLC is hiring CDL A Dedicated Local Dry Van Floater Drivers in Aurora, IL. Drivers will be splitting their time between working in the warehouse and covering dedicated line haul routes. Drivers will be hauling pharmaceuticals and can expect steady & consistent, year-round work.

Compensation

• Starting hourly pay rate: $30
• 40 hours per week guaranteed when reporting 5 days
• Overtime pay after 40 worked hours
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily
• In warehouse: Monday - Friday, variable start times between 2:00-3:00am with a minimum of 8 hours from the start time
  • Warehouse duties include: loading & unloading trucks with manual pallet jack or propane forklift (we will train you!), shrink wrapping pallets, assisting with breakdown of pallets
• While driving: Variable start times between 8:30pm - 4:00am
  • Round-trip dedicated routes: Aurora IL, Chicago IL, Cedar Rapids IA/Davenport IA, Madison WI, Milwaukee WI, Eau Claire WI, Wausau WI, Milwaukee WI, Bloomington IL, Mt Prospect IL, Mishawaka IN/Grand Rapids MI
  • Most deliveries are no touch, but some will be a driver unload with a manual or electric pallet jack and will include scanning boxes

• 2023 & Newer Freightliner Trucks
• 53' & 26' dry van trailers
• Automatic transmission
• Outward & inward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• No major violations, DUIs, or preventable accidents in the past 3-5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Hiring Radius: Drivers preferred within 25 miles of Aurora, IL or be willing to relocate for this position
