Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a Local CDL-A Delivery Driver to ensure timely, safe deliveries across the region. You will operate well-maintained tractors on local routes, communicating with dispatch and customers to meet delivery timelines.

Ideal candidates have a CDL‑A, at least 1 year of tractor‑trailer experience, a valid DOT medical card, and a clean driving record. Day‑to‑day duties include multi‑stop deliveries, keeping the truck clean, and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 5 years.
• Strong time-management and safety focus.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Able to work varied schedules, including day or night shifts and multi-stop deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate newer-model Freightliner or Volvo tractors with 53' trailers.
• Complete local and multi-stop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and customers.
• Manage hours of service and delivery timelines effectively.
• Keep your assigned truck clean and professionally maintained.
• Optionally assist with unloading to expedite deliveries when applicable
• Utilize Samsara ELD with inward, outward, and side-facing camera safety systems
