Penmac Staffing / Transportation Dept is hiring a local CDL-A Driver for a steel company in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with a 7:00am-5:00pm schedule, paying $20.00 per hour.

The role requires a CDL-A license, ability to read a tape measure, and readiness to lift up to 50 lbs. You will operate various trucks and may assist in the warehouse when not delivering locally.

Competenze

• CDL-A license is required and applicants must be willing to undergo a background check and MVR review.
• CDL-A license without automatic restriction preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Mansioni

• Operate trucks including flatbed, gooseneck, semi, and straight trucks.
• Transport steel materials to local destinations safely.
• Strap and chain loads.
• Operate an overhead crane by hand.
• Perform some touch freight as needed.
• Work with both automatic and manual transmission trucks.
• Maintain safe driving practices and follow DOT regulations.
• Flexible hours may be available depending on workload.
