Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring CDL-A City P&D drivers for our Hagerstown, MD Service Center. This local role delivers and picks up freight within the city, returns to the terminal daily, with multiple stops and customer interaction.

Home every day, full-time shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements include CDL Class A, 1 year of recent Class A driving experience, clean MVR/PSP, DOT pre-employment and drug screen, and the ability to pass a road test.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required and valid.
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP with no major violations; no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA transition rules apply.
• Pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a road test and lift capability with pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• City delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal daily.
• Multiple stops per day with scanning equipment and customer interaction.
• Complete liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
