Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a dependable CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver a variety of products to customer locations on an assigned route.

You will build relationships with customers using a friendly attitude and meet their needs while adhering to route schedules, safety standards and company policies; overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with insurability standards.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently.
• Able to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly, up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
• Unload/deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and supplies.
• Build relationships with customers through friendly service.
• Follow route schedules and company safety protocols.
