Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver for local City P&D runs in Seekonk, MA. This full-time role offers a home-daily schedule on Monday through Friday across various shifts, with city deliveries and pickups and daily terminal returns.

Responsibilities include multiple stops, using scanning equipment, and customer interactions, with liftgate deliveries via electric pallet jack. PTO after 90 days and a strong benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with valid license.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record with no serious violations; PSP/MVR check.
• Age 23 (21 if FMCSA military transition).
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to complete a road test.
• Able to bend, lift and stoop as needed.
• Dependable and safe driver.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight within the city on a local route.
• Make multiple stops and interact with customers daily.
• Operate scanning equipment and return to the terminal each day.
• Perform potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
