Job summary

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CDL A City P&D Drivers at our Seekonk, MA Service Center. You will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily with multiple stops per day.

This role requires a CDL Class A, a good driving record, and the ability to operate lifting equipment. The position offers daily home time and a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO after 90 days and access to employee resorts.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required.
• 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21+ if FMCSA military transition rule.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight in a city route and return to the terminal daily with multiple stops.
• Operate scanning equipment and interact with customers during deliveries.
• Complete potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
