Job summary

Saia LTL Freight in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to deliver and pick up freight across our local network. You will plan routes, handle loading/unloading, and maintain accurate load paperwork while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No DUI/DWI or license suspensions within the past 3 years.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds to and from trailers.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.
• Sorts, handles, loads, and unloads freight at various locations.
• Plans routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follows pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures.
• Conducts safety inspections and maintains load-related records.
• Serves as the first point-of-contact for delivery-related issues.
