Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking local Class A experienced drivers in the Oakland area. CDL required with 6 months of experience; must drive transmission tractors, 53’ trailers or containers.

Flat rate pay, averaging 10–12 hours daily, with dayshift starting between 4:00am and 6:00am. Benefits include 401(k), dental/vision/health insurance, paid holidays, home daily, and drop & hook (no touch freight).

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL (Class A) required.
• Medical certificate.
• Long form physical (4 pages).
• Social security card required.
• Active TWIC card required.
• 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Must be okay with snow chains and Reno trips.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive transmission tractor trailers (53 ft) or containers with safe, on-time delivery.
• Home daily with local routes in the Oakland area.
• Run occasional trips to Reno and use snow chains in winter.
