Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. in Oakland is seeking local Class A experienced drivers to join our team. You will operate transmission tractors, delivering within the region and occasional Reno trips with chains during winter.

Home daily with a 4:00am–6:00am start, Monday through Friday, averaging 10–12 hours per day. Benefits include 401(k), dental/vision/health insurance, paid holidays, and drop-and-hook (no touch freight) when available.

Qualifications

• CDL and valid medical certificate required.
• Long form physical (4 pages) required.
• Social security card.
• Active TWIC card required.
• 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Local Class A driving in Oakland area; home daily.
• Drop-and-hook, no touch freight when available.
• Occasional trips to Reno with chains during winter.
• Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am, Monday–Friday, 10–12 hours daily.
