Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Local Driver in Walterboro, SC. You’ll enjoy home daily, weekends off, no touch freight, and competitive pay at $23.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days).

Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, and you’ll operate an automatic 53' truck/dry van delivering locally. Requirements include 1 year of CDL-A driving in the past year, valid CDL, ability to pass a DOT physical, PSP score restrictions, and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles of Walterboro
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van
