DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking an CDL-A Local Driver for the AM shift in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus and home daily, with hourly pay starting between $30.50 and $32.50.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of verified experience within the past 4 years; 3+ preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Medical Certificate for driver qualifications.
• No positive drug or alcohol test in the past five years.
• No DUI/DWI, reckless driving or high-speed tickets in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform local pickup and delivery routes; home daily.
• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle per DOT and company rules.
• Complete multiple stops daily—picks, deliveries, returns.
• Provide white-glove service for high-value or time-sensitive freight.
• Interact professionally with customers with clear communication and service quality.
• Accurately complete shipping docs, PODs, and ELDs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Back trailers into docks and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Secure cargo to prevent damage during transport.
• Coordinate with dispatch on route updates and delays.
• Ensure freight is staged, loaded, and unloaded per requirements.
• Identify and report mechanical or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain DOT hours and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Assist with loading/unloading or dock coordination as needed.
