Job summary

The Driving Desk in Shafter, CA is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated local retail fleet. You will operate in Southern California with 100% no-touch freight and daily home time, delivering to retail locations with modern equipment.

Expect weekly earnings between $1,275 and $1,600, with annual earnings around $66,800 and top earnings near $84,400. Weekend work is required, with most dispatches between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within 50 miles of Shafter, CA (93263)
• Comfortable with afternoon/evening dispatch times

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
• Deliver dedicated retail freight throughout Southern California
• Transport both dry van and refrigerated trailers
• Complete approximately 2–3 stops per route
• Return backhaul freight to the distribution center
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain electronic logs and DOT compliance
