Job summary

605 Companies, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to support underground utility and heavy construction projects in the Sioux Falls area.

This local role involves hauling construction materials and equipment, with emphasis on operating lowboy trailers, side dumps, and end dumps, plus vehicle inspections and compliant log keeping. You will coordinate with supervisors and field crews to ensure timely deliveries, while following DOT safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Construction or heavy equipment hauling experience preferred.
• Experience with lowboy, side dump, or end dump trailers preferred.
• Dependable and safety-focused.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, securing, and inspecting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Haul heavy equipment using lowboy trailers when needed.
• Operate side dump and end dump trailers.
• Transport construction materials and equipment to and from project sites.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure loads and ensure cargo is transported safely.
• Maintain driver logs and documentation.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and field crews to coordinate deliveries.
