Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a CDL driver in Phoenix, AZ to safely operate a vehicle for pickup, transport and delivery of donated goods. You will deliver high-quality customer service to donors and GCNA staff while following safety policies and wearing required PPE.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid AZ CDL (Class A or B), DOT certification, Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and a clean MVR with no DUIs.

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CDL vehicle.
Ability to use technology.
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Must have and maintain a valid Class A or Class B Arizona Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL), DOT Certification, clean MVR with no DUIs and no reckless operation, as well as a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

Safely operates a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver donations and materials.
Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.
Follows all established policies, procedures and laws.
Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
Completes paperwork and reporting as directed.
May be required to work overtime.
Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
