Job summary

Central Transport is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers in Cheshire, CT. Our drivers are the face of the company, responsible for delivering freight on time and damage-free, and they unload their trailer after completing daily routes.

We offer industry leading pay with local home daily routes, and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, HSA contributions, and life insurance. Training and endorsements can be obtained within 60 days if needed.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record; No DUI within last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
• Maintain professional relations with customers.
