Job summary

Central Transport LLC in Brooklyn, NY is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers for home daily routes. You will operate modern equipment, ensure on-time, damage-free delivery, and represent us with professionalism.

Qualified applicants have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, a clean motor vehicle record, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test. HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI in last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen AND hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailers at daily routes.
• Represent the company with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate logs and records as required.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
