U.S. Multimodal Group is hiring for a local trucking position in Kansas City, MO. The role requires a CDL A and aligns with Terminal Consolidation Company’s services. You will handle pickup/delivery of containers, maintain logs, and adhere to DOT regulations.

Company drivers receive pay at $30 per hour with paid holidays and vacation, plus a full benefits package. Local route, English proficiency essential, with pre-employment screenings as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Meet I-9 requirements and have a safe, clean MVR with no major convictions.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Ability to read, speak and write English as per DOT regulations.
• Pass background, DOT drug screen and DOT physical with at least one year validity.

Responsibilities

• Operates a semi-truck in compliance with all state and federal laws.
• Pickup and deliver ocean containers, verify loads/empties and execute as instructed.
• Maintain truck maintenance logs and report damage, accidents, or violations; complete DVIR and pre-trip inspections.
• Complete and verify dispatch manifest daily.
