Job summary

MCG Tran is seeking a local intermodal driver to pick up and deliver freight to rail partners across the Kansas City metro and Edgerton area. Drivers start and end their day at Edgerton, KS or Kansas City, MO, and will relocate the truck to the nearest location each day.

This position involves no-touch freight with automatic transmissions. Hazmat certification within 90 days is reimbursed by the company. Holiday pay applies after 90 days, and full-time status is required.

Qualifications

• Hazmat permit within 90 days (reimbursed).
• Must be full-time.
• Local intermodal driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver intermodal freight to and from rail partners in the Kansas City Metro & Edgerton, KS area.
• Drivers will start and end the day either in EDGERTON KS or 9001 NE Birmingham, Kansas City, MO 64161.
• Driver will leave the truck at the closest location every day.
• All No Touch freight.
