Job summary

Union Beer Distributors in Newark, NJ is seeking a CDL A driver for local routes to New York City with overtime potential. You will deliver cases and kegs, unload products, and provide excellent customer service on each run.

Qualified candidates have a CDL A license with a safe driving record, 2+ years local CDL A experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with a clean driving record is required.
• Local CDL A driving experience of 2+ years is needed.
• Ability to read/write to record inventory and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cases and kegs to retail accounts (NYC).
• Unload and deliver products to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service on each run.
• Collect cash and checks from accounts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CDL A Drivers Wanted - Over Time

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering cases and kegs to retail accounts in New York City
• Collect certain recyclables.
• Physically unload and deliver products to our customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect cash and checks from our accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Possess and maintain a valid CDL- Class A Driver's License with a safe driving record/history.
• At Least 2 Year of Local CDL A Driving Experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Read and write in order to record inventory.
• Fundamental math skills in order to count and interpret inventory.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Safe driving record and history
• Daily, punctual attendance
• Knowledge of Brooklyn or Manhattan
