Job summary

Union Beer Distributors, a family-run beer distributor, seeks a CDL-B driver to deliver cases and kegs to NYC retail accounts, unload products, collect payments, and provide excellent service.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL-B with 2+ years local driving, strong math and inventory skills, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Equal opportunity employer; benefits include health coverage and vacation.

Qualifications

• CDL-B driver license required.
• At least 2 years of local CDL A/B driving experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Read/write to record inventory.
• Fundamental math to count inventory.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Daily, punctual attendance.
• Knowledge of Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Delivering cases and kegs to retail accounts in New York City.
• Collect certain recyclables.
• Physically unload and deliver products to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect cash and checks from accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering cases and kegs to retail accounts in New York City
• Collect certain recyclables.
• Physically unload and deliver products to our customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect cash and checks from our accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Possess and maintain a valid CDL- Class A Driver's License with a safe driving record/history.
• At Least 2 Year of Local CDL A Driving Experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Read and write in order to record inventory.
• Fundamental math skills in order to count and interpret inventory.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Safe driving record and history
• Daily, punctual attendance
• Knowledge of Brooklyn or Manhattan
