Job summary

Union Beer Distributors is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to service retail accounts in New York City and the surrounding area. You will deliver cases and kegs, unload products, and provide outstanding customer service while collecting payments.

The role requires a clean driving record, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Prior knowledge of Brooklyn/Manhattan is a plus, with overtime opportunities and benefits available.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• 2+ years local CDL A driving experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write for inventory recording.
• Basic math for inventory counts.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Safe driving record required.
• Daily, punctual attendance.
• Knowledge of Brooklyn or Manhattan preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering cases and kegs to retail accounts in New York City.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering cases and kegs to retail accounts in New York City
• Collect certain recyclables.
• Physically unload and deliver products to our customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect cash and checks from our accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Possess and maintain a valid CDL- Class A Driver's License with a safe driving record/history.
• At Least 2 Year of Local CDL A Driving Experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Read and write in order to record inventory.
• Fundamental math skills in order to count and interpret inventory.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Safe driving record and history

• Knowledge of Brooklyn or Manhattan
