Job summary

Small Potato Trucking seeks a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver based in North Hatfield, MA, delivering fresh and frozen groceries within the Northeast. The role offers home daily time, a $10,000 bonus, and consistent scheduled work with NYC boroughs and Long Island as primary targets.

Expect 80–90% NYC deliveries, multi-stop routes per week, and occasional longer loads. Uniforms and pallet-jack training are provided to support unloading and operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be comfortable with multi-stop grocery deliveries and unloading using an electric pallet jack.
• Must provide personal transportation to and from the account.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
• Service territory includes NY, NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and parts of upstate NY.
• Approximately 80–90% of deliveries are in NYC boroughs and Long Island.
• Deliver in NYC boroughs daily.
• Multi-stop routes averaging 15–20 stops per week.
• Usually one long load per day, with an occasional second, shorter load when hours permit.
• May pick up returned products or backhauls for delivery to the distribution center.
• Drivers receive electric pallet-jack training to assist with store unloading.
• May assist other local accounts as needed.
• Uniforms provided.
• Customer service skills are important.
