Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Westfield, MA is seeking a CDL-A Local Frozen Grocery Driver to deliver fresh and frozen groceries across the Northeast. You’ll earn about $95,000 per year with a $10,000 bonus and home daily on a dedicated frozen grocery account.

Expect roughly 1,865 miles per week on 46'–53' reefer trailers with multi-stop loads, about 31 stops per week, and driver-assisted unloading using pallet jacks. Start times 10:00 AM–2:00 PM; 12–14 hour shifts; holidays required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Comfortable with driver-assist unloading.
• Able to operate a pallet jack.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using 46'–53' reefer trailers.
• Multi-stop deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
• Approximately 31 stops per week.
• Driver-assist unloading with pallet jacks (automatic or manual).
• Typically one long load per day, with an additional shorter load when hours permit.
• Occasional returns and backhauls to the distribution center.
• Delivery territory includes MA, CT, NJ, VT, RI, NH.
• May support other local accounts as needed.
