Job summary

4th Day Trucking in Virginia is hiring a Local CDL-A TARGET Driver for 100% home daily intermodal runs. You’ll pull containers within a 150-mile radius, with no-touch freight and a shift preference for nights, earning solid weekly pay.

Expect 55–70 hours weekly, 10–12 hour shifts, and options to work Sundays to Saturdays. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) plan, and PTO. Trainees and certain operators are excluded on this run; Hazmat endorsed is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle 100% no-touch freight on intermodal runs.
• Operate within 150-mile radius of the yard.
• Make regional hub drops to other yards.
• Slip-seat operation with clean daycabs.
• Occasional 30–60 minute ramp waits for container mounting.
