Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a CDL A delivery driver in Jacksonville, FL to transport materials to job sites and support project teams. You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow dispatch instructions, and comply with safety regulations while maintaining quality and on-time deliveries.

Requirements include a CDL A with at least 2 years driving experience, forklift certification, and the ability to safely operate a gas-powered delivery trailer. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Transport concrete, mortar and materials to job sites safely.
• Receive from dispatcher invoices, directions and instructions and follow precisely.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report concerns immediately.
• Operate tractor-trailer in compliance with laws and company safety rules.
• Monitor equipment and report issues affecting quality, safety and service.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport concrete, mortar, and all other materials to and from a job site in a safe manner
• Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
• Operate tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws and observe all safety regulations established by the company and DMV
• Monitor and immediately report problems with assigned equipment operations, product quality, customer satisfaction and traffic

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely and efficiently
• Must be forklift certified
• Must have at least 2 years' experience driving with CDL A
