Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Waco, TX is looking for a dependable Local Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL to safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders to our customers from the local branch.

The role offers $28 per hour, Monday–Friday 7 am start, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. You must hold Hazmat and Airbrake certs, adhere to DOT/EPA/FMCSA rules, and be able to lift up to 125 lb with assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid TX Class A CDL and Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat and Airbrake certifications required.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; or a combination.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or trucking school certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read MSDS sheets.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs, and up to 125+ lbs with aid.
• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours; frequent bending.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must obtain forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Cylinder Handling: safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders to customer locations.
• Record Keeping: accurately log deliveries and pickups with signatures.
• Safety and Compliance: follow SAFECOR and government regulations.
• Warehouse Support: assist in warehouse or dock as needed.
