Job summary

Airgas, the Air Liquide company, is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Airbrakes & Hazmat) in San Antonio, TX. The role delivers compressed gas cylinders to local partners from a branch or plant and returns empty/rejected cylinders for refilling.

Pay is $27/hour with potential quarterly bonuses. Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, home daily, with comprehensive benefits and 30-day start of benefits. CDL and Hazmat/Airbrake certs required.

Qualifications

Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications are required.
1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or trucking school cert in last 12 months.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Proficiency in reading safety data sheets.
Ability to lift 25–75 lbs, up to 125 with aid.
Overtime availability.

Responsibilities

Cylinder Handling: safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders.
Record Keeping: log deliveries and pickups with customer signatures.
Safety and Compliance: follow SAFECOR and regulatory requirements.
Warehouse Support: assist in warehouse/dock as needed.
