Job summary

Martin Brower is hiring CDL Class A drivers for local routes in Enfield, CT. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle, loading/unloading, and delivering to local customers while maintaining timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Class A driving experience or military equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs.
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, OT, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A vehicle safely and deliver to local customers.
• Unload and deliver products and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate PIT/MHE (electric pallet jack/hand truck) as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited to:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers.
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• The CDL Class A Driver will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
• Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, OT, Holidays, etc.
