Job summary

Coastal Specialty Forest Products Inc is hiring a Local CDL-A Delivery Driver for Bow, NH. Home daily with day shifts and full-time hours. Responsibilities include delivering products to local lumber yards, operating tractors/trailers safely, and maintaining proper paperwork and vehicle condition.

Required CDL-A with DOT Medical Card and 1+ year of CDL-A experience (2 years preferred). Must pass background and DOT drug tests and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with valid DOT Medical Card.
• 2 years of professional driving experience preferred; at least 1 year required.
• Must pass Pre-Employment Background Check and DOT Drug Test.
• Knowledge of CSA and FMCSR regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor and trailer safely and responsibly at all times.
• Deliver products to local lumber yards according to routes.
• Use Electronic Log Device (ELD) per state regulations and company policy.
• Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.
• Assist with securing loads using straps or curtains as needed at delivery sites.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, well-organized vehicle.
• Complete daily paperwork and communicate via company devices.
• Represent the company professionally and build positive customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor and trailer safely and responsibly at all times.
• Deliver products accurately according to assigned routes to local lumber yards.
• Utilize an Electronic Log Device (ELD) in compliance with state regulations and company policy.
• Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current CDL Driver's License Class A with a valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to pass a DOT Physical).
• 2 years of professional driving experience is preferred, at least 1 year of CDL-A experience is required
• Entry level CDL-A drivers may be considered.
• Strong commitment to following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of CSA and FMCSR regulations.
• Acceptable driving record meeting Insurance Provider standards.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and DOT Drug Test.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, squat, or pull as required.
• Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods during driving.
• Able to work outdoors in varied and extreme weather conditions.
