Job summary

U.S. LUMBER GROUP is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for local work with home daily and travel around the New England area (MA, ME, CT, VT, NH). You will operate tractor-trailer/flatbed trucks to deliver and pick up cargo and maintain vehicle presentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining DOT travel logs, completing trip documentation, and ensuring timely service. A valid CDL-A and 1+ years of verifiable tractor/trailer experience are preferred; training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1+ years verifiable tractor/trailer experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Have a valid CDL Class A driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
• Maintains DOT travel logs according to federal and state regulations such as a pre- and post-trip safety report, fuel trip logs and fuel cards.
• Operates tractor trailer/flatbed truck to deliver/pick up cargo
• Responsible for vehicle presentation
• Maintain professional appearance: wearing assigned uniform
• Other duties as assigned by your manager
